The Youth Lab India goal is to bring real world, hands-on experiential learning tailored to individual student interests with aspirations for career pathways and entrepreneurship.
Youth Innovation Lab Learning and Career Mapping Assessment helps students prepare for the future. The curriculum format, assessment, and mentoring are based on individual learning and skills for entrepreneurship. Oral presentations, group tasks, technology development, and the business plan writing are key differentiators in all Youth Lab curriculum.
Youth Innovation Lab in Colorado is now being Launched in India in Ranchi. The Founder has been a serial entrepreneur, faculty and student mentor over the last 20 years. He has a PhD in Biotechnology and an MBA from Colorado State University and work in India, Israel, and USA on Technology sector and assisted innovation, entrepreneurship and raising venture funds. He is very committed to bring STEM and Entrepreneurship curriculum among young people and will assist building their individual educational and career roadmaps for Youth Lab India participants.
What expected from India platform?
Youth Entrepreneurship : We build passion among youth towards idea generation, opportunity recognition, and entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurs are passionate individual with a creative appetites and with the willingness to take calculated risks to bring a product from idea to market. Vision, Leadership, and Determination are required to propel emerging businesses forward.
The vision of Youth Innovation Lab is to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem and to build a global platform to showcase and expose youth with business success stories and to catalyze innovation.
- Entrepreneurship students will learn to shape entrepreneurial and venture basics, opportunities, and financial feasibility of business, while learning about entrepreneurial success in the USA, India and around the world.
- Skills and competencies gained in the lab expose youth on how to build a business or organization including from nascent start-up, corporation, family, non-profit, global, franchise or any other setting. The curriculum applies entrepreneurial thoughts and action in a real world setting.
- Learn to form collaborative business teams, business models for the new ventures, create businesses strategies, and work on a real business development process as a capstone project.
- Customized paths for students to gain knowledge and venture experiences about retail or service, technology, social/non-profit, family, and global business.
Venture pitch competition: Learn how to launch a business idea to market, and persuade potential investors and consumers on new business ideas.
